Our Engineering Group uses SolidWorks 3D design software featuring the latest technology for design solutions to allow for the rapid creation of parts and assemblies. When designing valves, we use flow modeling software that can interface with our SolidWorks 3-D software to produce models that have “real-life” flow patterns and calculations. This program assists us when we are designing products to the parameters that are needed for a particular application, nothing is left to guesswork. With a combined total of nearly 200 years of experience, this Group stands ready to design solutions for any opportunities that arise. Numerous Patents are held by our innovative Engineers for unique devices and/or features in both the Machine Tool and Fluid Power disciplines.
Tied directly to our Engineering Group is our Manufacturing Unit which utilizes the most up-to-date methods and machinery for the production of our parts. With nearly fifty machines and machining centers found in our shop, we are responsible for making nearly one hundred percent of the parts that are included in our finished products. We routinely machine castings, bar stock and other raw materials (metals, polymers etc) in the production of the individual items needed for production. We feature one of the most well-equipped and modern machine shops in the state and surrounding area. From two state-of-the-art MAZAK NEXUS 4000-II machining centers (which can share up to 28 pallets of parts – one with a 160 count tool changer and one with a 180 count tool changer), seven manual lathes, nine turning centers, twelve machining centers plus grinders, presses, saws etc. we possess the equipment and highly skilled personnel that allow us to schedule parts production in accordance with our customer’s delivery needs. Making most of our own parts allows us to maintain better control of our production process flow without having to rely on sometimes unreliable outside sources.
