Lexair direct operated cam valves can be used with a variety of media where quick acting mechanical control and long service life are required. Featuring a standard operating pressure of 500 PSI, these durable, high flow units are perfect for any of your high pressure application requirements. With optional seals, they require no lubrication, making them ideal for non-lube air service.
The valves feature a large, resilient poppet that provides bubble-tight closure, even under low pressure conditions. Internal components made from bronze, brass and stainless steel plus a wide choice of seal materials assure excellent compatibility with a broad range of media.
For easy service or repair, removal of the bottom hex nut from body gives quick access to the valve's poppet assembly without the need for disconnecting piping. Three quarter inch and larger sizes incorporate dual poppet construction to minimize operating force required and to permit rapid valve response when using viscous media.
Applications include:
Car wash equipment
Commercial laundry equipment
Industrial liquid or air controls
Water/waste water treatment
Mining and construction equipment
Machine tool coolant
Textile industry - flow on bleaching, dyeing and drying equipment
Foundry equipment
Test equipment requiring mechanical activation
Pulp and paper processing
Any operation where a direct mechanically operated valve is needed to control the flow of air, oil, water or vacuum
